The modern consumer wants a curated experience, but creating a personalized experience for each customer in real-time is a tall feat for CSPs to accomplish at scale. CSPs must also be cognizant of the uncertainties around 5G – including not knowing which use cases will be successful and how profitable those services will be.


The ambition of the 5G Chargers Catalyst is to demonstrate how – by embracing AI alongside a catalog-driven, open, and componentized architecture leveraging the TM Forum Canvas and Open APIs – CSPs can simplify their business while efficiently personalizing product offerings and experiences to individual customers, enterprises, and partners in real-time and at scale.


This Catalyst showcases three use cases including: 

  • Demonstrating how CSPs can dynamically create and price network slice offers for partners to enable differentiated experiences for customers using partner services.
  • Demonstrating how AI can be used to “right-size” services for each customer – ensuring they not only get what they want but that they also get just the right amount of it.
  • Demonstrating how AI can be used to personalize the price of services to align with customer expectations and usage patterns, account history, and even the CSP’s ideal profit margin.
